Abstrakty

Omówiono rolę regionów w procesie decyzyjnym UE, dyplomację regionów, kanały dostępu regionów do instytucji wspólnotowych: instytucjonalne, Komitet Regionów, Rada Unii Europejskiej, przedstawicielstwa regionalne, stowarzyszenie I sieci międzyregionalne.

Since the early nineties there have been recorded crucial changes in relations between European and regional institutions. On the one hand the European Union has become a structure which enables actors from different levels to play a significant role in a decisional process. On the other hand, regions have experienced new possibilities of access to the Communities institutions. These processes take place in all member states and concern various access channels, both the indirect as the direct ones. The aim of this paper is to present various possibilities how regions can influence the decisional processes within the European Union. The special attention is put on the institutional relations as well as these connected with the public policy. (original abstract)
