Based on literature review, I develop a model of an entrepreneurial ecosystem for achieving high growth entrepreneurship. This model is an integrated framework that focuses on the role of external context. Through the framework, the following research objectives can be explored: to understand why some organizations are able to sustain their high entrepreneurship while others fail to do so, to identify which dimensions of external context are critical, to evaluate in particular the importance of the role of motivation as entrepreneurship driver.
