The Euro Area Enlargement : a Paradigmatic View

Abstrakty

W artykule omówiono hipotezę, że polityka powiększania strefy euro jest determinowana nie tylko przez czynniki makroekonomiczne, instytucjonalne bądź polityczne, ale także przez paradygmatyczne koncepcje podziału świata. Autor przedstawia poglądy autorytetów ekonomicznych na temat przyjęcia euro przez nowe państwa członkowskie Unii Europejskiej. Wnioskiem autora jest potrzeba zwiększenia koordynacji działań prowadzących do przyjęcia wspólnej waluty przez państwa członkowskie UE oraz potrzeba jednolitej polityki makroekonomicznej.
