European Union "Better Regulation" Program and its Impact on the Competitiveness of New Member States

The Better Regulation Program was formally introduced at the level of European Commission and Member States relatively late, in 2002, as a priority of the Lisbon Strategy (2000). But it has been on the EU agenda since 1992 Edinburgh summit address in the quality of legislation. The basic program objective is to simplify the Community and national regulations and to reduce administrative burdens. (fragment of text)

Inicjatywa Better regulation (lepsze stanowienie prawa) formalnie została przedstawiona na poziomie Komisji Europejskiej i państw członkowskich stosunkowo późno, bo w roku 2002, jako jeden z priorytetów strategii lizbońskiej (2000). Jednakże ta inicjatywa była w programie EU od szczytu w Edynburgu w 1992 roku w związku z dyskusją o jakości prawodawstwa. Podstawowym celem programu jest uproszczenie przepisów Wspólnot Europejskich oraz krajowych, a także redukcja zbędnych obciążeń administracyjnych.
