In the paper, the specificity of spin-offs activity in the aspect of their origin from definite parent organizations was presented. Division into corporate and university spin-offs was presented and the results of research concerning the determination of differences in technological endowments of spin-offs coming from different parent organizations were discussed.(original abstract)
