Socio-economic Indicators of Sustainable Development - One Opportunity for Statistical Analysis

This paper describes a method for quantifying chosen subgroups of indicators related to socio-economic development. It represents a process of statistically analyzing the invariability of variability of development for four elementary indicators based on absolute geometric deviation. The application section was performed on data for EU 15, the Slovak Republic and Poland for the years 2001-2006. Final evaluation would suggest that a great opportunity exists to use this process for international comparisons. (fragment of text)
