Abstrakty

Artykuł ten poświęcony jest analizie wybranych aspektów wspierania zarządzania usługami IT poprzez zastosowania światowych standardów i dobrych praktyk biznesowych (ITIL - Information Technology Infrastructure Library) oraz systemów BI. Autorka podejmuje także próbę analizy, w jakim stopniu standardy te i oprogramowanie mogą mieć zastosowanie w firmach branży IT sektora MŚP. Sektor MŚP w Polsce rozwija się bardzo szybko w ostatnich latach. Jest to jeden z powodów, dla których inwestycje w IT w tym sektorze są coraz większe. Przedsiębiorstwa MŚP inwestują zarówno w infrastrukturę technologiczną, jak i w oprogramowanie i szeroko rozumiane usługi IT. Dlatego też warto jest poddać analizie, na ile standardy światowe i realizowane w korporacjach mogą mieć zastosowanie w tym sektorze. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The sector of small and medium enterprises (SME) in Poland expands very fast in recent years. For this reason the demand for IT services grows rapidly and constantly. So, it is time to SMEs to try implementing processes and best practices from the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) in order to ensure better management of the important IT resources as efficiently and effectively as possible. The main goal of the paper is to answer the question if ITIL standards and BI systems are useful for IT services management in SMEs sector. (original abstract)
