Complexity theory emerged in the natural sciences, but is applied in many other areas. Since the business environment is characterized by uncertainty and unpredictability, this comprehensive approach became extremely useful in the sciences of management, where is widely utilized. In this article the author concentrates on discussing the relationship between complexity theory, the effects of its impact on the perception of problems concerning the strategies, and the choices available to managers.
