Abstrakty
Ustawa z 20 kwietnia 2004 r. o zmianie i uchyleniu niektórych ustaw w związku z uzyskaniem przez Rzeczpospolitą Polską członkostwa w Unii Europejskiej (DzU nr 96, poz. 959) przyspiesza proces ujednolicania przepisów krajowych z ustawowymi, wykonawczymi i administracyjnymi przepisami ustawodawstwa WE. Wykonując postanowienia tej ustawy, dokonano szereg istotnych zmian i uzupełnień istniejących przepisów krajowych, a także dodano nowe regulacje. Te zmiany i uzupełnienia dotyczą także warunków przechowywania substancji chemicznych i materiałów niebezpiecznych. (abstrakt oryginalny)
The regulation (EC) number 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council from 18 Dec. 2006 concerning the matter of registration concerning the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemicals (REACH) has come into force on 1 June 2007 in all EU countries. It streamlines and improves the former legislative framework on chemicals of the European Union (EU). The main aims of REACH are to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, the promotion of alternative test methods, the free circulation of substances on the internal market and enhancing competitiveness and innovation. One of the main element of REACH system is imposing an obligation on producers and importers of toxic substances to inform the European Chemicals Agency and all their clients about all the hazards connected with using these substances.
