Abstrakty

Dane Banku Światowego wskazują, że w latach 2000--2008 nastąpiło potrojenie wielkości światowych przekazów zarobków migrantów, z czego zdecydowana większość napływa do krajów rozwijających się. Artykuł omawia specyfikę sektora usług związanych z przekazami zarobków i jego rozwój. Przedstawia także możliwy wpływ tych przelewów m.in. na wzrost gospodarczy, rozwój systemu finansowego oraz kurs walutowy i konkurencyjność międzynarodową danego kraju. (abstrakt oryginalny)

During the years 2000-2008 the worldwide amount of the migrants earnings remittances were tripled, according to the World Bank. Its immense majority inflows to the developing countries. This specific sector of services connected with the gains remittances and its development is described in the article. The possible influence of these remittances, a.o., on the economy growth, financial system’ development, the exchange rate and the international competitiveness of a country, is also presented.
