We present the problem of prediction of a domain total value based on a general linear model. In many methods presented in survey sampling literature, a common assumption is that it is known for each element of a population to which domain it belongs. This assumption is especially important in the situation when superpopulation model with auxiliary variables is considered. In the chapter we propose a method of prediction of the domain total when it is not known whether or not a unit belongs to a given domain or when the information is available only for sampled elements of population.
