Abstrakty
W artykule przeanalizowano, w jakich warunkach interakcje instytucji otoczenia rynku macierzystego i rynków goszczących stają się źródłem innowacji dla przedsiębiorstw międzynarodowych. Opisano, jak odległość instytucjonalna rynków: macierzystego i goszczącego wpływa na powstanie i dyfuzję innowacji lub ją hamuje. W artykule poruszono też wątek instytucji rynku polskiego i ich oddziaływania na sposób funkcjonowania polskich filii przedsiębiorstw międzynarodowych. Na podstawie m.in. własnych badań empirycznych podjęto próbę oceny, na ile instytucjonalne otoczenie rynku polskiego może stanowić źródło innowacji dla tych koncernów.(fragment tekstu)
The article focuses on mutual relations of market institutions and MNCs behaviour. It tries to specify conditions in which host market institutions can serve as a source of innovation for MNCs. The article begins with a short review of the possible sources of innovation for enterprises and a description of institutional models of market institutions. It also shows mutual relations and possible outcomes of MNCs performance in different institutional environment of host markets. The final section is devoted to the analysis of empirical data describing MNCs performance in Poland and their inability to create innovations, which is partly due to the nature of Polish institutional environment.(original abstract)
