Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe założenia oraz ramowe wyniki badań dotyczących kompetencji logistyki i łańcucha dostaw, przeprowadzonych przez: Europejskie Stowarzyszenie Logistyczne (European Logistics Asso­ciation) we współpracy z A.T. Kearney, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) oraz Capgemini. Rezultaty badań podkreślają znaczenie tych kompetencji w dążeniach przedsiębiorstw do osiągania oczekiwanych efektów rynkowych i ekonomicznych, umożliwiających zdobycie i utrzymanie trwałej, długofalowej przewagi konkurencyjnej na rynku. The article presents the key assumptions and general results of research, which concern identification of logistics and supply chain competencies conducted by Michigan State University (USA). The initial research deals with recognition of competencies regarding the concept of World Class Logistics. As a result the following logistics competencies have been identified: positioning, integration, agility and measurement. In the next step of Michigan State University research stream logistics competencies have been broadened to supply chain competencies. The key importance of supply chain integration has been highlighted. In consequence, the following competencies have been identified: customer integration, internal integration, material and service supplier integration, technology and planning integration, measurement integration and relationship integration.
