Abstrakty

Omówiono strategię UE na rzecz budowy społeczeństwa informacyjnego. Przedstawiono główne zmiany, które doprowadziły do szybszego wzrostu technologii IT oraz kluczowe motywy tworzenia strategii budowy tego społeczeństwa, tj. ukończenie budowy jednolitej europejskiej przestrzeni informacyjnej; wzmocnienie innowacji i inwestycji w badaniach nad ICT; stworzenie integralnego europejskiego społeczeństwa informacyjnego. Na koniec zaprezentowano postęp, jaki dokonał się w sektorze IT, a także proponowane zmiany.

This article looks at EU strategy for the building of an information society. The first section presents the main developments that have led to faster growth in IT technology and key motives for creating the strategy in Europe. It also discusses Lisbon Strategy mandates and three programs that support Europe’s information society strategy. The strategy currently being implemented is discussed in the second part, which also looks at its priorities and characteristic indicators. The last part focuses on progress that has been made in the IT sector and proposes modifications. (original abstract)
