Abstrakty

Skuteczne wykorzystanie technologii informatycznej stanowi obecnie jeden z najważniejszych czynników w funkcjonowaniu organizacji. Podejmowane przedsięwzięcia, realizowane w formie projektów informatycznych, odzwierciedlają strategie działania organizacji. Brak ciągłości kompetencji i odpowiedzialności w trakcie przygotowania, realizacji i wykorzystania rezultatów tych projektów powoduje powstanie ryzyka nieosiągnięcia zakładanych celów. Jednym z możliwych rozwiązań jest instytucjonalizacja i centralizacja tych działań przez powołanie nowej jednostki organizacyjnej - biura nadzoru strategicznego. Do jego zadań należałoby zapewnienie ciągłości w zakresie nadzoru nad realizacją pierwotnie przyjętych celów od etapu przygotowania poprzez realizacje do etapu eksploatacji. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Effective utilisation of information technology (IT) is currently one of key factors in organisation functioning. Ventures that are being undertaken in form of IT projects reflect the strategy of organisation operation. Lack of continuity concerning competences and responsibility during preparation, realisation and results utilisation phases of such projects creates a risk of failure in attaining the assumed goals. In order to guarantee the achievement of planned objectives, ensuring continuity of responsibility for undertaken operations is necessary. One of possible solutions is institutionalisation and centralisation of these operations by creating a new organisational unit - strategic supervision office. Its tasks would cover ensuring the continuity in the process of supervision of achieving the previously established goals, starting from preparation stage, through realisation and finishing in exploitation phase.
