Celem artykułu jest próba zdefiniowania europeizacji oraz wskazania wymiarów, w których proces ten zachodzi. Autor omawia również szeroko rozumiany kontekst europeizacji, analizując zależność europeizacji od globalizacji czy westernizacji. Jako główną metodę badawczą wykorzystano w artykule krytykę piśmiennictwa naukowego. (fragment tekstu)

European Union, Europeanisation or Europeanism are currently among the most popular phrases found in scientific papers and popular magazines. At times treated synonymously, their meanings do in fact differ. The paper focuses on three main areas, the first of which is a description of the idea of Europeanisation, its nature, types and spheres. An elaboration of eight dimensions of the phenomenon and a discussion of the context of Europeanisation follow. The author points out dependencies between globalisation, integration, regionalism, Europeanism, the European single market on one hand and Europeanisation on the other. The main research method used in the paper was the studying of literature on the subject, which forms the basis for the conclusions and recommendations in the field of defining the Europeanisation process and its dimensions.
