Abstrakty

The dispute between supporters of the classical school of management and supporters of the school of managerial action is pending for many years. His example is a model contradiction between the concept of managerial functions represented by Fayola and the concept of roles represented by Mintzberg. This paper describes the assumptions of these concepts and presents the voices in the discussion of theirs contradictions and similarities. In addition, basing on sociological factors, the model of a metatheory of management is proposed which combines these two different views. (original abstract)
