Abstrakty

Reformy systemu emerytalnego przeprowadzone w ostatnich latach w Macedonii sytuują ten kraj w gronie europejskich liderów. W artykule dokonano na podstawie przeglądu literaturowego analizy rozwoju historycznego, stanu obecnego i wyzwań stojących przed systemem emerytalnym w tym kraju. Celem badawczym autora było odnalezienie w tym systemie rozwiązań interesujących w porównaniach międzynarodowych. (fragment tekstu)

The article presents an insight into the old age pension system in Macedonia. The introduction is followed by three topic paragraphs: 1. the historical development of its pension system, 2. the present situation, and 3. challenges and foreseen changes. There, the author's goal was to present both past and present solutions employed by the Macedonian's pension system, in search for ideas worth consideration in international comparisons. In the summary, the author highlights as a particular Macedonian approach, on the background of other countries, the fact of the official limitation of the quantity of public pension companies present on the pension market and carrying out the public bid in that area.
