W pracy przedstawiona została próba określenia realnego kursu równowagi polskiego złotego w latach 1994 - 2008. W opracowaniu dokonano przeglądu literatury związanej z możliwościami badania zmienności kursu walutowego. Podana została również krótka charakterystyka czynników fundamentalnych mających wpływ na zmiany realnego kursu równowagi polskiego złotego w perspektywie wstąpienia Polski do Europejskiej Unii Walutowej. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Paper presents certain approach of long run equilibrium real exchange rate estimation for Poland from 1994 till 2008. A short review of exchange rate estimation modeling possibilities is also referred. Moreover, there were suggested macroeconomic fundamentals and other short run variables that explain movements in the polish zloty ex-change rate during EMU pre-accession period. (original abstract)
