The paper is organized as follows: In section 2 DEA is explained and our reasons for choosing it offered. Section 3 deals with models of bank branch activity that can be analysed using DEA. Section 4 provides a description of database of variables of the branches of a large Ukrainian bank. Section 5 comprises the main results of the research work. In section 6 we sum up, draw conclusions and also suggest area for further research. (fragment of text)
