Availability of Selected Financial Resources for Businesses in the Czech Republic

Aim of this article is to analyze available Financial sources for Czech businesses with regards to economical situation of the Czech Republic and financial health of non-financial subjects. Secondary objective is to contribute to exercise of financial analysis in business practice in terms of more detailed evaluation of individual indicators - not only in fixed time period, but also their changes in time. Based on analysis of economical situation of the Czech Republic of the end of 2008, bank credits in the Czech Republic and their provision to non-financial subjects are categorized. Further, operational programs are described as an endowment support of business subjects from EU funds. Condition of obtaining credit or dotation is good financial health of the business; for financial health evaluation we can use various methods or financial analysis. In order to perform more detailed analysis of business situation we can use pyramid decompositions, because they asset impact of partial financial indicators on top indicator. Recently, ROE dynamic decomposition with utilization of functional method was designed. (original abstract)
