Abstrakty

Artykuł omawia funkcjonowanie europeizacji w systemie wspólnej waluty w latach 1999- 2010. Dowodzi, że procesy europeizacji służą nie tylko poprawie zarządzania gospodarczego, ale są mechanizmem władzy w omawianym systemie. System ten opiera się na nierównym wpływie na decyzje polityczne poszczególnych członków Unii i asymetrycznej dystrybucji kosztów i korzyści. Cechą tego systemu jest również deficyt legitymacji politycznej i zjawisko asymetrii racjonalności między interesami dominujących państw członkowskich a racjonalnością funkcjonowania i stabilności całego systemu. The article analyses Europeanization processes in common currency system in Europe (1999-2010). It concludes that Europeanization is not only an instrument for economic governance in euro zone, but also mechanism of power relation. The system is based on unequal political influence on decision making, as well as asymmetrical cost and benefits distribution between member countries. In addition the main characteristics of the system is legitimacy deficit and asymmetry of rationality between dominant interests of the main members and functionality and stability of the whole system.
