W artykule przedstawiono przegląd powszechnie stosowanych systemów monitorowania i ich cechy charakterystyczne. W końcowej części przedstawiono rozważania na temat efektywności systemów monitorowania kosztów projektu, w tym także propozycje podstawowych założeń modelu projektu, użytecznego w ocenie efektywności. The article presents the scientific achievements in the field of testing the effectiveness of commonly used systems of monitoring and detecting deviations from the planned cost and efficiency. Monitoring systems presented in this paper are a leading parameter technique, variances analysis method, ABR technique (Activity Based Ratios). The article describes monitoring systems, their characteristics, measures used in these systems and their effectiveness in performance assessing. The systems were evaluated on the theoretical base. According to the analysis of literature the paper presents a reflection on the effectiveness of systems for project cost control, including the proposition of the basic assumptions of the model project, useful in assessing effectiveness.
