W artykule niniejszym prezentujemy trzy zagadnienia związane z badaniami zatrudnienia w gospodarce turystycznej, a mianowicie: poglądy na zatrudnienie w turystyce,problem zakresu zatrudnienia w turystyce,dane statystyczne o zatrudnieniu związanym z turystką na przykładzie regionu krakowskiego. Three problems connected with the studies on employment in the tourist industry have been presented, namely: Opinions on the employment in the tourist industry presented literature.The problem of the scope of employment in the tourist industry. statistical data on the employment connected with the tourist industry, exemplified by the region of Cracow. In the statistical accounting, the employment in the tourist industry is expressed according to the organizational criterion. Thus, its scope is very limited. The author attempts to determine a wider scope of employment in the tourist industry by adding the employment i in those branches of the national income which secure the tourist needs indirectly. The levels of employment in the tourist industry and its structure in the district of Cracow in the years 1975-1988 have been given. These data represent the initial stage of studies on that sphere of problems.(original abstract)
