The aim of this paper was to present the opinions of young consumers of various nationalities on the presence of harmful chemical substances in meat The research was aimed at young consumers, 19-34 years old, from selected European countries, who declared consumption of meat. It was showed that young consumers are anxious about the effects of harmful compounds in meat on their own health and the health of future generations. Young respondents from Poland (Olsztyn) have a significantly lower level of knowledge concerning safety of meat than Britons and Belgians. (original abstract)

W pracy zaprezentowano wyniki badań, których celem było poznanie poglądów młodych konsumentów, różnych narodowości, na temat obecności chemicznych substancji szkodliwych w produktach mięsnych. Badania przeprowadzono wśród młodych konsumentów, w wieku 19-34 lat, pochodzących z wybranych krajów europejskich i deklarujących spożywanie produktów mięsnych. Wykazano, że młodzi konsumenci są zaniepokojeni oddziaływaniem szkodliwych związków w mięsie na ich własne zdrowie i zdrowie przyszłych pokoleń. Młodzi respondenci z Polski (Olsztyn) mają znacznie niższy poziom wiedzy na temat bezpieczeństwa mięsa niż Brytyjczycy i Belgowie. (abstrakt oryginalny)
