The aim of the research has been the estimation of the development level of particular territorial units in South-East Macroregion from the point of view of their industrialization level as an element of their specialization in their non-agricultural activity. In the research there have been applied specially selected indicatora describing, among others, the level of industrial development of particular communes in the years 1977 and 1987. Applying the multi-characteristic classification and the so-called potential model the author has presented his estimation of the comprehensive indicators of industrial development and potential in territorial units in the South-East Macroregion.(original abstract)
