Przedmiotem niniejszego opracowania są miasta, a więc jednostki przestrzenne najniższego szczebla w hierarchii regionów ekonomicznych. Opracowanie stanowi dogłębną i w miarę możliwości pełną analizę rozwoju wszystkich miast Makroregionu Południowo-Wschodniego (MPW) za lata 1978 i 1987. (fragment tekstu)
The main goal of the paper has been amulti-criterion estimation of the socio-economic condition of all the towns of the Macroregion and presentation of major changes that took place in their economy over the period 1978-1987. The paper consists of 2 parts and the conclusion. The first part deals with the analysis of the settlement system of the South-Eat Macroregion and includes an empirical analysis of enzo - and endogenic factions of the town calculated with the use of the Aleksanderasson method. The second part is a presentation of empirical research into the socio-economic development of all the towns in the South-East Macroregion. The investigations of spatial differentiation of the condition and socio-economic development level of 100 South-East Macroregion towns in the years 1978 and 1987 have been conducted on the basis of a few thousand indicators (100x41). The typology of the South-East Macroregion towns has been made by means of the Hellwig method in 5 variations and the results have been presented in tables and charts. The conclusion is a summing up of the entire investigations of the South-East Macroregion towns and includes a presentation of the regions of government administration in Macroregion.(original abstract)
