Abstrakty
The aim of this article is to discuss the cognitive competencies of managers in terms of strategic management. The article points out the importance of analyzing the factors that most strongly influence the choice of heuristic processing and detailed strategy, starting with general ideas about the individual and the existing individual differences. Rather than simply make attempts to create a table of a large number of individual differences that are likely to affect the ability to achieve strategic competence, one can make an attempt to demonstrate how these factors can affect the processing of strategic information.
