Abstrakty

W ramach definicji "opisowo-przyczynowych" typu (1), bezrobocie strukturalne określane jest jako typ bezrobocia charakteryzujący się długotrwałością: jego przyczyn należy się doszukiwać w braku symetrii pomiędzy podażą siły roboczej i popytem na rynku pracy oraz w występowaniu czynników utrudniających i opóźniających procesy ekonomiczne prowadzące do osiągnięcia takiej równowagi. The paper discusses the problem of structural unemployment as seen in Neo-Classical and Keynesian theories. Criteria applied in unemployment categorization have been analysed - with particular emphasis on separation of the category of structural unemployment juxtaposed to the category of cyclical (deficient demand) unemployment. Such criteria were divided into instrumental ones (the level of reaction of parricular typos of unemployed to growing global demand) and descriptive ones (especially the length of unemployment spans). Much space has been devoted to concepts of labour market segmentation and job search process analysis - as contemporary theoretical constructions enriching the structural theory of labour market.(original abstract)
