Celem pracy jest przedstawienie zagadnień związanych z technologiami przyjaznymi środowisku, o których bardzo rzadko pisze się w literaturze naukowej z zakresu turystyki. Znaczenie technologii w turystyce stale rośnie zarówno dzięki nowoczesnym środkom transportu, jak i technologiom komunikacyjno-informacyjnym, które są nowoczesnymi i opłacalnymi kanałami dystrybucji produktów turystycznych. Solutions exist to the environmental threats posed by the growing pollution of the natural environment and the negative effects tourism has on the state of the environment. The development of sustainable tourism has focused a great deal of attention on the potential causes of this state of affairs. The article presents the essence and character of environmental technologies, and holds them up as one of the key aspects of environmental protection for guaranteeing tourist destinations, as well as the tourism companies that are active in them, greater competitiveness.(original abstract)
