Abstrakty

Przedstawiono ocenę dynamiki charakterystyk ilustrujących innowacyjność typu Input w europejskiej przestrzeni regionalnej. W badaniach uwzględniono 10 lat (od 1999 do 2008 r.). Obiekty badania stanowiły europejskie regiony szczebla NUTS 2 z grup regionów wydzielonych zgodnie z chronologią procesów integracji. Wykorzystano metody klasyfikacji pozycyjnej z modyfikacją właściwą dla ujęć dynamicznych. Wyniki pozwoliły zilustrować przebieg procesów rozwojowych ze względu na zmiany (dynamikę wartości w 2008 r. w relacji do wartości w 1999 r.) odnotowane dla trzech charakterystyk innowacyjności Input, takich jak: udział ludności w wieku 25-64 lata uczestniczącej w kształceniu ustawicznym w regionie, kapitał ludzki w nauce i technologii jako odsetek aktywnych zawodowo, udział pracujących z wyższym wykształceniem w ogólnej liczbie pracujących w regionie. The article presents the assessment of these innovation characteristics dynamics which illustrate Input type innovation in the European regional space. The research covered 10-year period, from the beginning of 1999 till 2008. The study focused on European regions at NUTS 2 level and the distinguished groups of EU-15 member countries, as well as the regions of 2004 and 2007 accession, and also on global European space covering regions of 27 EU countries. Positional classification methods, including the modification adequate for the dynamic perspective, were used to carry out the research objective. Its results allowed for the presentation of developmental processes with regard to changes (values dynamics in 2008 in relation to values of 1999) registered for the three INPUT type innovation characteristics, i.e. share of population aged 25-64 participating in long life learning in the region, human resources in science and technology (HRST) as percentage of professionally active population and share of working university graduates in the total number of workers in the region.(original abstract)
