In the paper such an operator of symmetrization is defined, which transfers a certain distribution F(x) into the nearest (in sense of Tchebycheff metrics), symmetrical distribution 1F(x), Particularly, the operator transfers symmetrical distribution into the very same distribution. The operator 1F(x) is expressed by formula 1F(x)=1/2[1-F(2x0-x)-P(X=2x0-x)+F(x)], where x0 is any real number. In the article some properties and applications of such defined operator of symmetrization are considered. (original abstract)
