The theories of technical inventions state that Inventions are directly and only determined by the standard of technical and scientific knowledge as well as the number of big enterprises. Their efforts in the research and development in a large measure define the bulk of existing knowledge. Demand theories on the other hand may be expressed by "necessity is the mother of inventions" and hence depend on factors determing volume and structure of social needs. They are gross national income and income per capita. The main disadvantage of demand theory of inventiveness is assumption included in it which claims that there exists perfect flexibility of inventions supply to the needs. And this is not the case. Certain needs Lave not for centuries been satisfied. Another fault of pure supply theory is the conviction that invention can develop quite independently of the need for it in the sense that every invention can crest the demand and meet it. This theory however disregards phenomena of inventions made too early or to late and other kinds of unnecessary inventions in present as well as future economic conditions. Though when estimating the significance of supply and demand factors in inventiveness it is true that formely, in conditions of lower technical and economic development, demand factors played a more important part. Nowadays, in the most highly developed countries supply factors are of greatest importance in the development of inventions. Needless to say, fall and Most adequate interpretation of technical progress can provide us with total theory which would combine the analysis of supply and demand factors and mutual relations between them.
