Abstrakty
The article presents the most important determinants of recurring unemployment, which, given its universal character, can be applied to every labour market regardless of dimension or character. These determinants can also be applied to a particular situation on national, regional or local labour markets. The factors identified and described which determine the return to unemployment are in large measure based on the results of numerous empirical studies, with the remainder derived from theoretical considerations from the world literature. In the light of these considerations, the most important determinants of recurring unemployment detailed in the article include: the influence of previous unemployment experiences, a low level of human capital, employers' approach, labour market policy, segmentation of the labour market, individuals finishing university and joining the labour market, seasonal employment, and individual differentiation (heterogeneity).(original abstract)
