The paper is an attempt to find a proper modelling tool for reflecting structural and functional features of the economic systems. Beginning from "black box" model author presents succesive stages of reflecting the accuracy of the system structure by means of transition, transmitance, equation of state and simultaneous equations - seeing in these latter the main tool in reflecting structural relations in the system. Using proper estimation procedure one can determine the force of interdependence between elements of the system on base of observations, as well as using simulation technique one can reflect behaviour on base of structure. This mutual resemblance between model and system is the best guarantee of choosing proper construction of the model. (original abstract)
