The dynamics of goods distribution in conditions of short-termed changes in demand and supply

Abstrakty
Making use of Forrester's method of studying the dynamics of systems the paper deals with a problem of distribution dynamics shaping itself in conditions of short-termed changes in demand and supply observed on food markets and everyday purchases. Above analysis of relations has been carried out on the example of bakeries basing on a simulation model. In the structure of the model several elements, sub-systems have been diferentiated which affect the dynamics phenomena in a system distribution - demand. As a result the model enables a more penetrating study of storing dynamics and goods flows in a system and interrelated dynamic changes in demand and particularly its decrease and increase in subsequent time segments of a distribution system. The analysis of above phenomena makes it possible to estimate the negative effects of mutual reactions that lead on one hand to demand losses (non realized purchases by consumers) and on the other to goods losses effective and potential, suffered by a commercial enterprise. Merithorical and formal description of the model as well as interactions of its elements complete our considerations concerning simulation experiments made on the model and comments about practical adaptability of the model to the needs of steering distribution process.
