W niniejszym opracowaniu autor stara się przedstawić zakres opóźnień w rozwoju teorii, a zwłaszcza międzynarodowego public relations, pokazać źródła inspiracji oraz główne tezy koncepcji transformacyjnego public relations oraz różne poziomy (makro, mezo, mikro), w których transformacyjne public relations znajdują zastosowanie. The chapter presents the notion of transitional public relations coined by the author, a introduced into the world PR literature and already accepted by the world leading public relations scholars. It postulates that public relations strategies and instruments have proved useful in helping: initially, to abolish the "old" socialist/communist system, and subsequently: to achieve desirable transformation of public awareness be reversing or at least mitigating the fears and prejudices toward "ruthless capitalism"; to promote a certain model of market economy; and to facilitate an effectively functioning market economy.
