Abstrakty

W międzynarodowej literaturze ekonomicznej globalne pozyskiwanie zasobów jest zwykle definiowane za pomocą terminów outsourcingu i offshoringu. Offshoring jest uważany za nową "falę" na świecie. Jednym z doniosłych efektów postępującej integracji gospodarki światowej jest rosnące znaczenie możliwości wykorzystywania offshoringu i źródeł zewnętrznych (outsource) w kreowaniu wartości działań biznesowych. W wielu sektorach przedsiębiorstwa są zdolne do dezagregacji swoich łańcuchów wartości na mniejsze części. Proces ten pozwala na względnie niezależne podejście do profilu idealnej lokalizacji przedsiębiorstwa poprzez offshoring i delokalizację oraz strategie kontroli (poprzez outsourcing). Artykuł prezentuje nowe modele biznesu w okresie globalizacji, istotę, motywy oraz kierunki geograficzne offshoringu. (abstrakt oryginalny)

In international economic literature global resourcing is usually defined in terms of outsourcing and offshoring. Offshore is the next "wave" in the world. One important effect of the increasing integration of the world economy is the rising importance of possibilities to offshore and outsource value - creating activities. In many industries firms are able to disagregate their value chains into smaller parts. This process allows for a less path - dependent approach to the firm's ideal location profile (through offshoring and relocation) and control strategies (through outsourcing). The article presents new business models in globalization, the essence, reasons and geographical directions of offshoring. (original abstract)
