Przedstawiono typowe postacie różniczkowych modeli popytu: model Workinga i model rotterdamski oraz problemy ich estymacji.

The empirical studies on demand should be based on the theory of consumers' demand. The differential models of demand are the models of demand resulting directly from the theory of demand. The paper is a presentation of the differential models of demand starting from the Working model, through the Rotterdam model, to the models of the demand systems for individual types of products, groups of products and services, and conditional demand equations. The similarities and differences between these models and the methods of economic interpretation of the model parameters are presented. Further on, the procedures of estimation these models are discussed. From among them the maximum likelihood method has been recognized to be the most general and promising method of estimating the stochastic differential models of demand. (original abstract)
