Bliskowschodnia polityka Baracka Obamy - szanse i wyzwania

Abstrakty

Największym wyzwaniem dla bliskowschodniej polityki Obamy jest spowodowanie, by deklarowana otwartość wobec świata muzułmańskiego przyczyniła się do zmniejszenia niechęci do Stanów Zjednoczonych i w konsekwencji do zwiększenia skuteczności amerykańskiej polityki w wymiarze przede wszystkim regionalnym. Na razie poprawa wizerunku Stanów Zjednoczonych w krajach arabskich następuje stosunkowo powoli. Duży wpływ na ten wizerunek będą mieć nadal konflikt izraelsko-palestyński, kwestia Iranu oraz operacje w Iraku i Afganistanie. Problemem nie do przezwyciężenia jest pogodzenie oczekiwań pod adresem prezydenta Obamy i jego polityki z możliwościami, jakimi dysponuje. (fragment tekstu)
