Abstrakty

Analiza literatury przedmiotu dotycząca innowacji skłania do sformułowania wniosku o rosnącym zainteresowaniu jednym z aspektów funkcjonowania organizacji, jakim są społeczne innowacje. Ta względnie nowa kategoria pojęciowa została w ostatnich latach wpisana nie tylko w tematykę badań naukowych, ale także w inicjatywach i programach Unii Europejskiej. Daje to asumpt do przedstawienia tego zagadnienia w odniesieniu do jednego z trzech obszarów, który postrzega się za kluczowy w jego tworzeniu tj. sektora publicznego i wyjaśnienia jego znaczenia dla polskich instytucji. The aim of the paper is to present the social innovation phenomena in the sphere of public sector. Social innovation is treated as a new challenge for institution providing public services. First the nature of the social innovation is described. Next the barriers and factors were indicated based on the literature review. The article is finished by the Authors indications for implementing the social innovations into Polish public organizations. (original abstract)
