Abstrakty
[n the paper the Author focuses on the technological determinants which support the process of creating radical innovations. In the first section the characteristic of radical innovations is presented. Above all their key features were depicted which in turn provide benefits for future clients and companies. The second section concentrates on the process of creating radical innovations which is strongly determined by technological preconditions. The latter are, according to many researchers, the basic attributes of technological progress and innovative patterns, such as: technological regimes, natural growth trajectories and technological incontinuity. In the final section the Author assesses its impact on the cycle of technological growth and incontinuity, and consequently on the process of creating radical innovations. (original abstract)
