Abstrakty

Logistyka, zgodnie z definicją Council of Logistic Management (USA), jest częścią procesów zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw, która planuje, wdraża i kontroluje efektywność przepływu i magazynowania dóbr, usług i informacji z miejsca ich powstawania do miejsca ich konsumpcji w celu zaspokojenia potrzeb klientów. Głównym celem międzynarodowej logistyki jest zabezpieczenie dostawy, tzn. że właściwe dobro o właściwej jakości, we właściwej ilości i we właściwym czasie zostanie dostarczone do właściwego kraju. Międzynarodowa logistyka jest znacznie bardziej kompleksowa niż krajowa. Musi uwzględniać zróżnicowane warunki otoczenia, ekonomiczne, polityczne, prawne, infrastrukturalne, geograficzne, a także zagrożenia wynikające z międzynarodowego terroryzmu i piractwa. Logistics, according to the definition of Council of Logistic Management (USA), is that part of the supply chain process, that plans, implements and controls efficiency of flow and storage of goods, services and related information from the point of origin to the point of consumption in order to meet customers' requirements. The main goal of international logistics is assurance of delivery, that means that the right quantity of the right good in the right condition would be delivered in the right time, to the right place in the right country. International logistics is much more complex than domestic logistics. It has to take into account diverse economic, political, legal, infrastructural, geographical, climatic and other conditions in individual countries as well as threats connected with international terrorism and piracy.
