W ostatnim czasie widoczna jest rosnąca potrzeba zapewnienia specjalistycznej i kompleksowej usługi logistycznej. Dotyczy to głównie podmiotów działających w środowisku międzynarodowym. Problem badawczy dotyczy tego, jak z punktu widzenia operatora 3 PL zapewnić specjalizację i kompleksowość usługi. W artykule przedstawiono niezbędne inwestycje (samodzielne lub drogą przejęć) i inne rozwiązania (outsourcing i alianse), które pozwalają ograniczyć ryzyko związane z nietrafionymi lub nadmiernymi inwestycjami. There is a noticeable growth of demand for specialized and comprehensive logistic service. It concerns basically enterprises operating in the international environment. The research problem is connected with the question: how to ensure specialization and comprehensiveness of the service. The paper contains presentation of necessary investment scope (self-reliant or by acquisition) and other solutions, such as outsourcing and alliances. They allow companies to reduce the risk connected with unsuccessful or excessive investments. (original abstract)
