Abstrakty
Sustainable consumption gives the opportunity to use products and services which meet consumer needs in an effective and efficient manner by minimising the negative impact on the society, the economy and the environment. The ultimate aim of sustainable consumption is to improve the quality of living of all consumers of present day and future generations by reducing the harmful influences on the environment. Sustainable consumption is based on the idea that meeting present day consumer wants will not limit the needs and opportunities of future generations. In recent years it has become clear that sustainable economy can be built through sustainable products and services and not only through sustainable industrial processes. Taking this into account sustainable consumption has focused on the understanding of the moving forces of consumer behaviour and how this knowledge can be harmonised with the activities of the business and other stakeholders. The paper analyses the current surveys on the perceptions and attitudes to sustainable consumption in European countries in recent years. The lack of information on the perceptions and attitudes to sustainable consumption in our country is established in a comparative aspect. The possibility for European ecological models to influence consumption in Bulgaria in this direction is also discussed. (original abstract)
W niniejszym artykule dokonano analizy obecnych badań dotyczących postrzegania, stosunku do trwałej konsumpcji w krajach europejskich w ostatnich latach.
