Abstrakty

Logistyka należy do dziedzin, dla których możliwości rozwoju i przyszłość są nadal w sposób niewystarczający rozpoznawane i określone. Stąd coraz częściej perspektywy i przyszłe kierunki rozwoju logistyki powinny być i stają się przedmiotem badań i dokonywanych w ich ramach wizji. Podstawą prognoz w tym zakresie jest m. in. coraz lepsze rozpoznawanie dotychczasowych przesłanek i determinant rozwoju oraz tendencje zmian i przewartościowań w sferze logistyki, uzyskane w wyniku wieloletnich badań empirycznych w krajach zachodnich. Opracowane w wyniku m. in. wspomnianych prognoz, scenariusze rozwoju logistyki w przyszłości wskazują na rosnącą rolę i nowe możliwości badań przyszłości w logistyce. (fragment tekstu)

In the research concerning logistics and logistics services more and more important becomes the notion of perspectives and future development directions. It is of key importance in the aspect of activity adaptation in the sphere of contemporary logistics as far as changes and long-term advantages in achieving global competitiveness are concerned. Thus, the possibilities of further development of logistics and its future more often become and should be the subject of research. The basis for the forecast in this sphere is better recognition of the existing development premises and determinants as well as tendencies of changes in logistics, gained as a result of long-term empirical research in western countries. The basis for diagnosing and designing the development of logistics macro-environment scenarios and the future of logistics and transport up to 2025, elaborated as an effect of the mentioned research presented in the article, indicate the growing importance and new possibilities of the future development trends in this field.
