The paper presented the results of the analysis of stability of the determinants of economic development level. The results reveal a decreasing role for demographic and agriculture factors in explaining the differences in the level of GDP per capita in various countries. Simultaneously, we could observe an increasing role for human capital as a determinant of economic development in the last years. The farther research will focus on developing a new data mining quality model co-efficient that would be based on the Kappa coefficient, but would be less sensitive to changes in the level of missing data. The above coefficient will allow a more precise distinction of those changes in decision trees that result from changes in economic processes, due to changes resulting from different levels in the availability of data.
