Abstrakty

Współczesne łańcuchy dostaw stają się coraz bardziej złożonymi i dynamicznymi strukturami, przekształcając się w łańcuchy oparte na świadczeniu usług. Ponadto łańcuchy dostaw podlegają wpływom szeregu megatrendów, takich jak globalizacja, dążenie do zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa, zarządzanie relacjami, przyjazność dla środowiska, społeczna odpowiedzialność itp. Wszystkie te procesy wymagają udoskonalonych i odmiennych kompetencji nowoczesnych menedżerów logistyki. Muszą oni być niezwykle elastyczni, utrzymując wszelkiego rodzaju relacje w łańcuchu dostaw, muszą umieć funkcjonować w multikulturowym otoczeniu pod presją czasu i różnorodności. Analiza kompetencji menedżerów w łańcuchach dostaw będzie bardzo pomocna w procesie kształtowania profesjonalnych programów edukacyjnych. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Contemporary supply chains become more complex and more dynamic, demonstrating a general shift towards service-dominant structures. Moreover, those supply chains are influenced by a number of mega-trends such as globalization, drive for security, relationship management, environmental friendliness, social responsibility, etc. All those processes demand improved and changed skills of modern supply chain managers. They need to be extremely adaptive, maintaining all kinds of relationships, be able to function in multicultural environment and under the pressure of time and diversity. Analysis of their competencies will be helpful for designing various educational programs for logistics managers. (original abstract)
