W artykule przedstawiono obsługę transportową handlu, która wpływa na zaspokojenie potrzeb konsumentów o określonym poziomie i strukturze oraz obniżenie kosztów świadczonych usług.

The author presents the problems connected with the organization of transport service of trade, paying regard to the limitations concerning the time of the service realization. The importance of the transport limitations is connected with the strive for maintaining the high level of commercial services, the perfect satisfaction of consumers ' needs. A dilemma arises as to whether to lower the high level of the services, decreasing thereby the transportation costs, or conform to the limitations imposed by consumers, bearing heavy costs. The paper includes a review of the strategies of distribution used in trade in Great Britain, being in contrast with the distribution subject to certain conditions resulting from the organization of the transport service of trade in Cracow.(original abstract)
