Do We Need Smart Cities for Resilience

The article discusses the prospects of Smart City in terms of expectations and lifestyles of modern urban citizens. It mentions that Smart City accounts for implementation of new technologies related to communication, security and sustainability in metropolitan services. It further describes the concept of Smart City and Resilient City concerning development strategies of cities. (original abstract)
